Possibly the best news yet...
...about the Buffy animated series - this was taken from tvtome.com:
In a recent interview with MTV, Jonathan Nimbar (creator of MTV's SPIDER-MAN) announced that he has joined forces with Buffy god Joss Weedon to produce a computer-animated series based on the hit live-action tv series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" for FOX.
"Joss was amazed with the look of the show (Spider-Man). He was planning a Buffy animated series for awhile now but wasn't sure how he wanted the visual style. He contacted me the day after the pilot aired. He immediately sent in a whole season's worth of episodes."
As for the look of the series, Nimbar noted, "We're going to base it highly off the Spider-Man series. The animation will be very similar if not the same.'

and take a look at some images of David Boreanaz and Dido on the set of her new music video 'White Flag'
and inside reports are now circulating that moore has reversed it's decision to cancel the buffy/angel action figure line and they will be released after all - more news when it comes available
