Animated Series Will Air?

Dear Marilyn: Any news on Buffy: The Animated Series? I have been looking everywhere for some sort of scoop.
Dear Jay: Buffy creator-exec producer Joss Whedon was worried for a while that, because of budget restraints and other problems, Buffy: The Animated Series wouldn't hit the airwaves until at least May of 2003. However, as it seems now, Fox will premiere the show in January--with Buffy and pals returning to high school to sample the joys and sorrows they didn't experience in the original series. The voices of Buffy stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Boreanaz, Seth Green, Nicholas Brendon and Michelle Trachtenberg are among those you'll hear on the animated series.
Hopefully this means that the series will come down to Australia on either cable or free-to-air
