Charmed Is Ripping Off Buffy/Angel!!!

Is any one else noticing how similar the 'Cole' character on Charmed is
to several Buffy/Angel characters?


Let's begin. First - Cole first appeared as a mysterious guy in
black clothing, Angel did as well in 'Welcome To The Hellmouth'. Second - He is half demon/half human with a soul, more or less like Angel's problems in Buffy's first season episode - 'Angel.' Third - Cole is prone to going evil. Angel does that also (See 'Surprise' onwards).
Fourth - He feels a life time of guilt over killing innocent people in
his demon days, see Angel in 'Becoming (Part 1).' Fifth - Cole was seen in one of his early episodes dressed as an Angel (Well that was a bit of a stretch). And last, but not least - Cole is in love with a blonde girl with superpowers.


Need I go on?


Now I could handle this, if they wanted to scab this idea off
Buffy they could have it. Joss Whedon did a better job anyway. But now
my second point is this:


Recently on Charmed, in Tassie anyway, Cole's demon half was
vanquished and he was left powerless. Cole believed that Phoebe didn't need him and half resented the fact that Phoebe felt the need to protect him. Isn't this like Riley's traumas in the early part of Buffy Season Five? (Especially in 'Out Of My Mind' and 'Into The Woods.')


That's two story lines at least that I've seen Charmed take
over, but with the number of actors on Charmed that have been on
Buffy/Angel also suggests to me that this is no coincidence. I believe
that there is a bit of cheating going on here. If you don't believe some
actors that I've seen are:


Greg Vaughn (Played Richard in Buffy's Season Two Episode 'Reptile Boy). Played Danny on Charmed a series regular.


Charlie Weber (Played the recurring role of Ben in Buffy's Season
Five.) Played a night in shining armour in Charmed.


Wade Andrew Williams (Played 'General Gregor' in Buffy's Season Five
episode 'Spiral.') Played a demon in Charmed.


Kevin Weisman (Played Dreg who made a few appearances in Buffy's Season Five) Played a demon in Charmed.


Christopher Wiehl (Played Owen in Buffy's Season One Episode 'Never Kill A Boy On The First Date.) Played Phoebe's love interest.


Daniel Dae Kim (Played the recurring role of Gavin Parks in Angel's
Seasons Two and Three) Played a martial art demon guy.


Michael Bailey Smith (Played Toth in Buffy's Season 5 Episode 'The
Replacement') Smith plays Cole's demon half balthazor as well as many other demons.


Brian Thompson (Played Luke in Buffy's Season One Episodes 'Welcome To The Hellmouth' and 'The Harvest' also played The Judge in Buffy's Season Two episodes 'Surprise' and 'Innocence.')Once again played a demon on charmed.


Also Charmed sucks.
